You need three things in the theater - the play, the actors and the audience, - and each must give something. - Kenneth Haigh

The Rosetown Community Theatre (RCT) is completely operated by volunteers. Volunteers do all of the work associated with producing plays, selling memberships and maintaining the building and oversee all of the work. They are also our directors, actors and graphic artists. The Theatre Executive includes farmers, storeowners, businessmen and artists, all of them united in supporting our activities and our outreach.

There are many things that you can volunteer with:

There is no pressure. You can work as little or as much as you choose. In most cases, people get involved in several aspects such as carpentry in building a scene, painting, operating sound equipment, or putting up advertising banners in Rosetown or surrounding areas.

We have opportunities for almost any skill you might offer and we are eager to teach you new skills. RCT can exist only if it has volunteers to do all that is needed to produce quality plays and keep it financially viable. We welcome new participants and all of us are deeply grateful for the time, skills, and camaraderie that volunteers offer.
